Just about every day one of the following happens:
Although #1 and #3 happen from time to time #2 seems to be the most frequent of the three. Usually I'll Google the issue, find a hit right away where someone has asked the exact same question only to find that there's no resolution in the forum thread. What's worse is that sometimes these posters come back to say "Hey I figured it out! Thanks everyone!" without posting their solution. I spend the next few minutes imagining what these people look like, so I can make a hair voodoo doll of them. After I'm content with the likeness I keep plugging away at the problem until I have it solved. There's usually a lot of wheel-spinning in this process.
I'm hoping that this blog--once I actually have some substantial content--will save others the trouble of having to collect hair from their coworker's desks to create a doll that probably won't work anyway.
